Pakistan Advances Rs213 Billion in Development Projects

On 26 October, the Central Development Working Party approved 10 projects worth Rs40.915 billion and recommended three additional projects worth Rs172.25 billion for ECNEC consideration, taking the combined value of the approved and recommended initiatives to approximately Rs213.17 billion. The proposals cover irrigation, flood management, education, roads, power and other public-sector priorities, including a Rs85.34 billion flood-management project in Punjab and a Rs69.89 billion irrigation initiative in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
