On 30 October, Geostat reported that international visitors spent GEL 5.7 billion in Georgia during July–September 2026, representing an 8.2% decline year on year despite a 3.3% increase in visitor trips to 2.6 million. Average spending per visit fell 11.1% to GEL 2,194.4, while leisure and recreation accounted for 58.8% of visits.
